Apple has launched the Apple Device Management Program in the Enterprise (ABM) and the Apple Device Management Program in Schools (ASM) in Vietnam, known as the Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP). These two programs are offered exclusively to Apple customers who require the seamless deployment and management of Apple devices owned by their organization. From iOS devices like iPhone, iPad and iPod, to desktop and laptop devices like iMac, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and finally AppleTV, these devices can be registered. signed and managed under either ABM or ASM.

Provided as a way for I.T. personnel or Technology Directors to manage multiple devices at once, ABM has no limit in the number of devices to be registered. This allows I.T. personnel to automate tasks related deploying and managing their fleet of Apple Product.

Devices

Paired with a compatible MDM* (Mobile Device Management) solution, ABM will provide automatic enrollment to the MDM server. This will streamline and provide customized setup process for your employees.

Content

Also knows as VPP, Volume Purchase Program, this allows organizations to purchase volume licenses for their required apps, both for free and paid apps. Based on the number of licenses purchased, these can then be assigned to the required users so that all devices will have up to date apps required for their daily work.

People

Create Managed Apple IDs for employees and avoid having them use their personal Apple IDs on the device. This will allow more control on how the device is managed by the IT Team.

iOS, iPadOS, and macOS make it easier than ever for IT to integrate with your organization’s directory service or cloud identity provider. IT can now link Apple Business Manager to Microsoft Azure Active Directory, making it seamless for employees to access Apple services with a Managed Apple ID.

Apple Business Manager makes it easy to find, buy, and distribute content in volume to meet your every business need. Purchase any app available on the App Store or use custom apps built specifically for your business internally or by third-party developers. And when apps are distributed through MDM, IT won’t need to use redemption codes or Apple IDs to get content onto each device.
